100 + Extraordinary Women came together on Monday evening to celebrate the funding for the Infant and Toddler Section at the Beloit Public Library Discovery PLAYce! The women pictured have a love for the community and children! Those of us who are part of the Thrivent family (Jon Urish (not pictured), Hanami Boldin-Hastings (top left), Amanda Urish (bottom left), and me (top right)) shared a table with some truly Extraordinary Women! Seated left to right after Amanda - an owner of a Book Boutique/Mom, Kristen Statton; Children's Ministry Leader/Grandma, Jo Ann Christiansen; daughter of an Educator/Grandma, Jean Cook; School Principal/Mom, Janae Gile; retired Early Childhood Educator/Mom, Chris Piehler-Vance; and missing was a retired English Educator/Grandma, Barbara La Chapell! These ladies devote much of their time giving back to their family, community and caring for children! Ladies, thank you for all you do, your pledge and for joining me in supporting a great project!
