I had an incredible time in Atlanta at BDC this past week. From kicking things off at the Women’s Connect lunch and finally meeting Emma Ngo in person, to hearing thoughtful perspectives from speakers like Justin Forsett, the experience was meaningful from start to finish. Getting to connect with advisors at every stage, from seasoned professionals to those newer in the field, was especially impactful. Hearing how they are showing up for their clients and making a difference in their communities was truly motivating. The culture at Thrivent stood out in such a genuine way, with a shared commitment to generosity and service that was evident everywhere you looked. Between the generosity event, clearly my golf swing needs work, and watching everyone fully commit to karaoke, the energy was unmatched. It was a memorable conference, and I am already looking forward to next year. #Thrivent #LiveGenerously #PurposeDriven

Before heading off to Atlanta for my first BDC, I made a stop in Alabama to visit my dad at his new place. It was really special to spend that time together before a big week, even if the weather caught me off guard. Definitely colder than I expected. A good reminder that no matter where work takes us, slowing down to be with family is always worth it.
