About Wendy Gonzales Davis

I’ve been with Thrivent since 2013, specializing in retirement income distribution strategies and long-term care planning. My passion for financial guidance comes from personal experience; after losing my husband to cancer in 2010, I saw just how important early and intentional planning can be. That experience shaped my commitment to helping others feel prepared and supported through life’s transitions.

I chose to work with Thrivent because it allows me to serve people of faith, which aligns with my personal values. Building strong, lasting relationships with my clients is one of the most rewarding parts of my work. I truly care about each person and their family, and I find great purpose in creating personalized financial plans that help them move forward with confidence.

Outside of work, I enjoy gardening, working out, and spending time with my grandchildren. I also love giving back to my community and often invite clients to join me in serving local nonprofits. Some of our recent projects include packing meals with Love the Hungry, working on Habitat for Humanity builds, collecting food for local pantries, and supporting Operation Christmas Child. I currently serve as the drop-off leader for Samaritan’s Purse at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Louisville, KY, sit on the board for Cedar Lake (a nonprofit serving adults with intellectual disabilities), and co-lead our church’s Evangelism board.
