Thrivent Action Teams at Work! Pastor Jeff, a Thrivent member, and around 15 other volunteers helped put together a Pancake Supper. This supper helps to raise money for the Scholarship Fund at United Seminary in Gettysburg. During the Pancake Supper, the team served around 70 dinners, raising more than $700 for the Scholarship Fund. This fund helps United Theological Seminary offer scholarships that support students in their education. Thanks to this action team, Pastor Jeff and the group were able to donate all of the money raised directly to the scholarship fund! This is a wonderful example of how Thrivent Action Teams can make a meaningful difference in our communities! Thank you for your dedication, Pastor Jeff and team!

Thrivent Action Teams at Work! Deb, a Thrivent member, and 8 volunteers helped bag and box up items for the E.O.C. Faith Inn. These boxes and bags were delivered to the organization on October 27, 2025. This organization helps house people or families who are homeless until they can find other housing. During this project, Deb, Tom and volunteers put bags together that included toiletries, housing supplies, snacks, and other non-perishable food items. These were given to the individuals and families currently housed through the E.O.C. Faith Inn Program. This is a fantastic example of how Thrivent Action Teams can make a meaningful difference in our communities! Thank you for your dedication, Deb and team!

This group of volunteers met on November 12, 2025, and packed over 180 shoeboxes for those in need. Operation Christmas Child is a project that delivers gift-filled shoeboxes to children in need. These shoeboxes can include fun toys, school supplies, hygiene items, and non-perishable food items. The boxes filled during this Action Team will be sent all over the world through the help of Operation Christmas Child! This is a fantastic example of how Thrivent Action Teams can make a meaningful difference in our communities! Thank you for your dedication, Judy and team!

This project was quite helpful to this organization, as the volunteers filled 150 stockings! These stockings were filled with socks, gloves, toothpaste, shampoo, razors, soap, and a Walmart gift card. With this action team, the Homeless Vets were provided with items to help them survive the winter. This is a fantastic example of how Thrivent Action Teams can make a meaningful difference in our communities! Thank you for your dedication, Deb and team!

Tri-City Meals on Wheels is an organization that provides hot meals to over 200 individuals, 5 days a week. This helps individuals who are not able to cook for themselves and/or no longer have the mobility to grocery shop daily have a hot lunch to eat. Donna and the group of volunteers helped create three different desserts for these meals. This included mixing the recipes, filling and sealing the dessert cups, and packing these cups into the lunch bags for delivery. This is a fantastic example of how Thrivent Action Teams can make a meaningful difference in our communities! Thank you for your dedication, Donna and team!
