Thrivent Action Teams at Work!
John, a Thrivent member, along with many other volunteers, helped organize an Irish Dinner Fundraiser. This event was held to benefit Faith Lutheran Church and raise money for the church. At the fundraiser, volunteers served a traditional Irish dinner that included corned beef, cabbage, potatoes, carrots, and onions, as well as other side dishes. The event also featured raffle baskets.
With the help of this fundraiser, the church raised over $500 toward its organ fund. The current organ is over 25 years old, so the church has decided to fundraise to purchase a new one.
This is a wonderful example of how Thrivent Action Teams can make a meaningful difference in our communities! Thank you for your dedication, John and team!
