About Scott Schaefer
Financial Consultant
Scott Schaefer is a Financial Consultant with Thrivent and has been with them since 1991. Throughout his career, he has found great fulfillment in helping clients achieve their financial goals, mentoring colleagues, and building lasting relationships. One of his greatest joys is working alongside family members in the practice. Scott attended Brevard Community College in Florida on a golf scholarship, and then transferred to Central State University now University of Central Oklahoma and played golf on the golf team and received his degree in business
He and his wife, Jacqueline, have been married since 1990, and have two children, Preston Schaefer and Zac Schaefer and also three grandsons Scotty, Beau and Luke. Preston works with him at Thrivent as part of Schaefer Financial Group.
Outside of work, Scott enjoys golfing, traveling, and spending time at the lake. He is passionate about financial education and generosity in the community, actively supporting his local church and a variety of charitable organizations, also has been involved in Bible Study Fellowship for 26 years.
