What is it Like to Meet with Me?

When you schedule an initial meeting, whether in person or virtually, we will connect for about 30-60 minutes and get to know each other. You can share any financial questions or concerns that you have, and I’ll ask about goals and dreams for your financial future. I'll share in detail the ways I can work with people, and you'll determine if it's a good fit. The goal of our first conversation is to identify if we want to work together.

Financial Guidance

It’s not easy when you have goals and dreams, but you aren’t sure how you will reach them. Working with a financial advisor, you can learn how to prioritize and bring clarity to your plan. It’s all about asking the right questions and preparing your next steps with confidence. I would be honored to be your guide on this journey.

I help individuals, families, business-owners, and community leaders throughout Dane County and nationally to develop a financial strategy that aligns with goals, so you can achieve the financial clarity you deserve. I love the conversations and relationships where we work side by side making informed decisions and planning for your financial future.

My practice has a holistic planning approach utilizing my licenses in Series 7 and 66 to offer individuals, families, and organizations the highest level of service. I look forward to connecting with you to find calm and clarity in your financial plan, and confidence in your path to reaching your dreams.

Together We Can

  • Strengthen your financial position
  • Prepare for the unexpected parts of life
  • Invest with purpose and manage your assets before and after retirement
  • Explore tax-efficient ways to manage your money
  • Create a multigenerational wealth plan

Financial Planning for Creative Careers

If your income fluctuates, your work blends personal and business life, or you’re building something that doesn’t fit a traditional career path, you’re not alone. I work with creative professionals who want clarity, stability, and intention around their money—so they can focus on their work without constantly worrying about what’s next.

I specialize in working with people whose work doesn’t fit neatly into a 9‑to‑5 box, including:

  • Food creatives, chefs, bakers, and makers
  • Artists, musicians, and performers
  • Independent contractors and self‑employed professionals
  • People balancing multiple income streams or seasonal work
  • Values‑driven individuals who want their money to support both life and purpose

You don’t need to have everything “figured out” to work with me. Many of my clients come to me when things feel messy—and want a plan that brings order without stripping away creativity. Many of my clients balance irregular or seasonal income, multiple revenue streams, and deeply meaningful work—and want greater clarity and confidence around their finances. My role is to provide thoughtful, planning‑first guidance that brings structure, stability, and intention to their money, so it supports both their work and their values.

Our work together is collaborative, values‑based, and adaptable as your career evolves. My approach starts with understanding your full financial picture, not just investments.

Together, we focus on:

  • Planning for irregular or seasonal income
  • Creating clear, manageable cash‑flow systems
  • Separating personal and business finances
  • Preparing for taxes proactively
  • Building savings and investment strategies that fit your reality
  • Making thoughtful decisions around growth, generosity, and long‑term goals

My role isn’t to push products or tell you to “just budget better.” Instead, I help translate complexity into clarity—so your money supports your work, your values, and your future. As a Thrivent Financial Advisor, I also help clients integrate financial planning with generosity and purpose, using money as a tool to live more fully and intentionally.

The goal is clarity, stability, and confidence—so you can focus more fully on your work.

A Little More About Me

With a background in special education, I bring with me the same level of compassion and the ability to explain complex topics in ways that are easy to understand and apply. I continue to live out my passion for empowering people to live out their highest potential and helping them identify and reach their goals.

I have been married to my husband, Micah, since 2017. We enjoy life with our four cats, Winston, Wanda, Pretzel, and Otis. We have great appreciation for both the comfort and activity that fur babies bring to our home.

I have been closely involved in church and para-church ministries for over 20 years, and I love working with leaders in different faith communities. Micah and I are actively involved in ministry, especially working with youth and families.

In grade school I fell in love with learning other cultures and languages, in college I had the opportunity to study abroad in both Spain and the Dominican Republic. Now, I am blessed to be able to work with individuals both in English and Spanish.
