About Melissa Arbuckle
Welcome!
I am passionate about helping my clients uncover what's most important to them, so that we can create a customized and comprehensive financial plan aligned to their values. My clients and I often share values of gratitude, generosity, and purpose.
My goal is to create an inclusive and expansive practice that is welcoming to a diverse market. I especially enjoy connecting with women and minority entrepreneurs and am an ally of the LGBTQIA+ community.
I have lived in Eagan, Minnesota since 2001 when I moved back to the area with my husband and our three children. My family has grown up, and I am now a mother-in-law and new grandma! Family is one of my most important values. In addition to my immediate family, I am lucky to have a large extended family and expanded network of people who are important to me.
I attended Rosemount Middle School and Rosemount High School but graduated as part of the first graduating class of (the then brand new) Eagan High School. I have degrees from Inver Hills Community College, Hamline University, and LSU-Shreveport.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time outdoors hiking, kayaking, cold water swimming, boating, and snowshoeing. I love attending local theater productions and serve on the board for Walking Shadow Theatre Company in Minneapolis. I'm always happy to recommend a show, if you're looking for something to see around town. I have a wide variety of other interests as well: professional sporting events, dancing, yoga, and piano. I love learning new things because it helps keep me young.
