About Joshua Johnson

Hi, I’m Joshua Johnson. I’m a Thrivent Wealth Advisor, and for more than 15 years I’ve enjoyed helping individuals and families make confident financial decisions.

When I’m not meeting with clients, you’ll usually find me with my wife, Jennifer—spending time with our kids, Abby (Black Hills State University) and Jake (South Dakota State University), or planning our next trip together.

I’m an outdoors person at heart, so I’m happiest camping, fishing, or hunting; especially when my dogs, Bauer and Breezer, are along for the ride.

I’ve always believed the best way to stay grounded is to stay involved. Giving back through Habitat for Humanity builds has been especially meaningful, and my faith community at St. Stephen Lutheran Church is an important part of my life. I care a lot about conservation and community service, which is why I’m a member of Pheasants Forever, Ducks Unlimited, and the National Wild Turkey Federation. For more than 10 years, I'm proud to be a Firefighter Lynd Fire Department. If you’re at the hockey rink, you may see me there too; I’m also a hockey referee.
