My Family and our Journey
I'm a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional based in St. Louis and a co-founder of Navigator Financial Group, where our team focuses on special needs financial planning for families in St Louis and across the country. Every day, I get to work with an extraordinary group of clients — many of whom are parents, caregivers, and advocates navigating the same road my own family walks.
My passion for serving special needs families and the organizations that support them is deeply personal. My wife Katrina and our two boys are my world. I definitely married up — she's an amazing woman, a terrific mom, and a wonderful pastor. Our sons are loving, kind, curious, and joyful, and they both have significant special needs. Being their dad has given me a front-row seat to the incredible highs — and the very real lows — that so many special needs families experience. It's the honor of my life, and it's the reason I do what I do.
Beyond client work, I speak and teach nationally on special needs planning and mentor fellow advisors who want to serve this community well. It's a privilege to help raise the bar for how families like ours are supported — wherever they live and whoever they work with.
When life slows down enough for hobbies, you'll find me catching live music with Katrina, cheering on the Cardinals, Blues, and City SC, reading, or playing guitar.

Marcia Pott
Marcia has previously worked in the field of education and has taught in the classroom for a total of sixteen years. She has transitioned from the classroom to the office — as Navigator Financial Group’s insurance associate. With care and respect, Marcia’s passion is to help people meet their needs in any way she can. She loves to utilize her Action Teams to support those in the community. She would be happy to share how to get started with your own Action Team.
Marcia and her husband Keith live in the St. Louis area with their three children. Hiking and biking are a couple of their favorite ways to spend free time together.

Yogis Mayooran
Yogis recently joined Thrivent Financial in 2023. Prior to working at Thrivent, he was a Financial Analyst at Texas Tech University. He has finished his Finance degree and worked 4 years in Canada before he moved to the United States. He enjoys watching sports and collecting coins.

Madeleine Gold
Madeleine hails from Ames, Iowa originally, but is currently settled in Oklahoma City with her husband and Chiweenie, Percy. After many years of theatre, comedy, and artist management in a a host of different major metropolitan areas, Madeleine found finance during the refinance boom during Covid. She loves it and wants to stay! In her free time, Madeleine is a hardcore crafter. Currently, her favorite is needle painting embroidery
