Do you have questions about divorce? Are you contemplating, or maybe your partner has filed, and you’re not sure where to start? At this workshop, you’ll receive an unbiased look at the legal, emotional, and financial aspects of divorce in a workshop style conversation. No question is off-limits and personal stories and names are kept confidential. Our goal is to empower you to make the best decision for yourself and your family, which may not be a divorce!
During the workshop, you will learn:
• The divorce process, your rights and options, child custody and visitation, child support, alimony, and more from a local divorce lawyer.
• The emotional stages of divorce, strategies to maintain your mental health, how to support yourself and your children.
• How to navigate the financial realities of divorce, determining support, what to do with the family home and retirement plans, and more.
