More Than Numbers
Money impacts nearly every important decision we make, which is why I believe financial planning is about more than investments, accounts, and numbers. It's about helping people make confident decisions creating a life that aligns with their values and goals. My passion is helping individuals, families, professionals, and business owners navigate meaningful life transitions. Whether you're preparing for retirement, rebuilding after divorce, adjusting to the loss of a spouse, changing careers, growing a business, or planning for a future business exit, I strive to provide clarity, guidance, and a thoughtful plan for what comes next.
A Planning-First Approach
I take a planning-first approach to financial advice. Rather than starting with products or investments, I begin by gaining a deep understanding of your goals, values, concerns, and vision for the future. Together, we'll create strategies designed to help you move forward with confidence and purpose. My approach starts with understanding what matters most to you:
- Your goals and priorities
- Your values and vision for the future
- Key financial planning considerations
- Strategies aligned with your objectives
- A personalized financial approach
- Adjustments as life circumstances change
- Ongoing guidance and education
Experience and Credentials
Before joining Thrivent, I spent more than a decade in sales and leadership roles, where I discovered a passion for helping people grow both personally and professionally. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Secondary Education from the University of Tennessee and was honored to be inducted into Phi Beta Kappa. I also hold the Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA®) designation, which allows me to better serve business owners as they prepare for important transitions in their lives and businesses.

Life Outside the Office
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, serving in my church's children's ministry, hiking in the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina, and reading. I also have a longstanding interest in the biochemistry of herbal medicines. I live in a historic home in West Asheville with my husband, Josh, our sons, Gunner and Griffin, and our dogs, Archer and Coco.
