Family
My wife, Angie, and I met while attending Mount Marty University in Yankton, South Dakota, and we’ve been blessed with two wonderful kids, Maddie and Layne. Maddie graduated from Colorado Christian University in May 2026 with a degree in Elementary and Special Education. She is now teaching in a Special Education classroom at Lopez Elementary in the Poudre School District. Maddie is married to Brandon Fidler, who is studying to become a pilot through Aims Community College. Our daughter, Layne, is pursuing a business degree at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona. She enjoys the warm Arizona weather and works at a local soda shop called Swig. Our family also includes two dogs, Sadie and Sage, who love to snuggle and play ball.
Fun
I played college baseball and still enjoy being in a summer “old guy” league. It’s true baseball and we use wood bats. Even though I’m two shoulder surgeries in, I want to play until I “can’t”. And a fun fact, I've had the opportunity to coach the local baseball team at Loveland High School the last couple years - Go Redwolves! I also enjoy golfing, fishing and hunting when I get the chance.
Future
I currently hold my CFP® designation, and my goals include working on my Behavioral Financial Advisor designation and eventually my Retirement Income Certified Professional designation.
Faith
My family and I attend Good Shepherd Church here in Loveland and have enjoyed the community here. We also had the opportunity to take a trip to the Holy Land in 2023 - it was an incredible experience!
