I have been with Thrivent since 2004. I am married to my wife Sara Shattuck, who is also a member of our financial practice. Sara and I met while attending the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse for our undergraduate degrees. Together we have 3 teenage daughters who are actively involved in cross country, track, choir, band, softball, swimming, basketball and various school clubs. Together as a family we are passionate about helping our community by supporting our local food pantry, schools, churches, and various community organizations.

Sara Shattuck
Sara is an office professional for the Mascoutin Valley Associates team and has been with us since 2013. Sara serves as a board member for the Berlin Area Scholarship Corporation. She also coaches the Berlin Middle School cross country team. In her free time, Sara enjoys outdoor activities such as running, boating, gardening, hiking and skiing.

Jenny is an office professional for the Mascoutin Valley Associates team. She has been with the team since 2017. Jenny is married to Nathan and they have two children, Elliott and Esri. They attend Federated Church of Green Lake. Jenny and her family enjoy camping, boating and hiking.

Joy joined our team in 2024 and is an office professional. She is a people person and enjoys the client interaction her position offers. Joy is married to Rob, and they have one daughter, Sami, who attends undergraduate school at University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. One of Joy’s favorite activities is enjoying time on the water with friends and family at their lake home.
