Adding Value to Your Journey

My fulfillment comes from empowering my clients to steward their resources wisely, with guidance rooted in faith, and prioritizing service that strengthens families and communities for generations to come. I take pride in bringing this work to my communities, and yours.

  • Guiding young families through building strong foundations with protection solutions, retirement strategies, and optimizing with employer plans.
  • Helping ensure pre-retirees transition smoothly by reviewing income plans, tax implications, and effectively managing risks.
  • Legacy planning with tax-efficient approaches and holistic strategies to preserve and pass on what families have worked hard to grow.

Drawing from two decades of corporate leadership in supply chain and logistics, where I developed expertise in strategic planning, risk management, and navigating complex systems, I now specializes in serving young families and pre-retirees. My passion is helping others live with clarity, confidence, and generosity, aligning financial decisions with deeply held values.

My Life's Trek

Born and raised in Madison, WI, I attended Edgewood High School and earned my bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin–Madison in 2004. Launching my career in supply chain and logistics in 2006, I served in leadership roles at Fortune 100 companies such as Kraft, Mondelēz International, and Target. Over the next 15 years, my wife Brooke and I relocated five times to four different states for professional opportunities, all while raising our two children and prioritizing our family values along the way.

Putting down roots in Cottage Grove, WI in 2021 while working for a remote, privately held software start-up, I increasingly felt a calling for something deeper. Work that would allow me to make a truly meaningful impact on people's lives from all walks of life. Fostering strong, lasting professional and personal relationships grounded in trust and shared values.

After much prayer, thoughtful discussion with Brooke, and deep reflection, I joined my father-in-law, Joel Groskreutz, at his practice of Covenant Financial Group at Thrivent. Having been a client of Joel's since 2017 and being already familiar with Thrivent's faith-based approach to financial guidance, it was clear that this was the path aligned with my core values of faith as the foundation, service to others and allowing him to perform meaningful work that touches people's lives in dynamic ways.

Outside of Work

My family and I attend Heartland Church of Sun Prairie. Most nights and weekends, you'll find me active in my kid's youth sports, coaching and cheering on baseball, softball, volleyball, football, and basketball. It's a year-round affair. I also serve as President of the Board of Directors at Madison Kennedy Little League.

In what free time I can make for myself, I enjoy traveling with Brooke, weight training, hiking, cooking, and grilling.
