About Carrie Rennemann

Carrie Rennemann is a founding partner of Skyline Financial Group and a financial advisor who believes clients deserve thoughtful, comprehensive guidance that reflects the full complexity of their lives. Her approach is rooted in holistic planning — looking across retirement income, investments, insurance, long-term care and legacy considerations to help clients make confident decisions with clarity and care. Carrie has expertise in guiding affluent individuals and businesses with investments, retirement, and legacy planning. Also, she is especially passionate about supporting clients through major life transitions, including widowhood, divorce and retirement, and helping them feel steady, informed and empowered about what comes next.

Before co-founding Skyline Financial Group in 2026, Carrie served as a market director at Thrivent, where she mentored, coached and recruited financial advisors while helping shape the future of the business. Earlier in her career, she worked as a financial advisor at another firm and spent a decade in commercial banking at Bank of America. Those experiences gave her both the strategic perspective and practical insight she now brings to each client relationship.

My Why

Carrie’s professional path has always centered on helping people navigate important financial decisions with confidence. After years in banking, advising and leadership, she chose to return to direct client work because of the meaningful difference it can make in people’s lives. For Carrie, there is nothing more rewarding than helping someone move from uncertainty to clarity — especially during seasons of loss, transition or major change. Her goal is to create a planning experience that feels compassionate, steady and deeply personal, so clients know they have a guide by their side.

Who is Carrie personally?

Outside of work, Carrie lives in Old Town Chicago with her husband, Javid, and brings the same curiosity and enthusiasm to her personal life that she brings to her work. She and her husband are passionate international travelers and avid food lovers who enjoy exploring Chicago’s restaurant scene and discovering new places around the world. Carrie has also attended multiple Olympic Games over the years, reflecting her love of adventure, culture and memorable experiences. She is a longtime supporter of organizations including Ronald McDonald House, PAWS Chicago, Greater Chicago Food Depository and Northern Illinois Food Bank.
