More than 65 dedicated volunteers gathered for an appreciation lunch at Glenn Park Assisted Living Center, where they were recognized and thanked for their faithful service. From greeters and lay readers to worship leaders, clickers, and ministry volunteers, these servant teams help make St. John Lutheran a welcoming place for all who walk through its doors.
Thanks to Deborah's Action Team, the church was able to help make this celebration possible and show gratitude to the many individuals who give their time, talents, and hearts to serve others throughout the year.

One of our clients, Linda Gross, recently led a Thrivent Action Team to help refresh the playground in the Village of Florida by replacing and replenishing the rubber mulch.
While it may look like a simple playground, this space serves as so much more than swings and slides. It's a place where children can play, families can connect, and neighbors can come together. To keep the playground safe and accessible, rubber mulch must be added each year—and thanks to Linda's leadership and the support of Thrivent Action Team funds, this important community project was able to move forward.
We're grateful for community-minded individuals like Linda who see a need and take action. Her efforts are helping ensure this beloved gathering place remains a safe and welcoming space for local families to enjoy for years to come.

🌟 Action Team Spotlight 🌟
This Action Team was used to support a project led by a group of girls from the Patrick Henry Schools National Honor Society, who took the lead in enhancing the welcome garden at Hamler Community Park in Hamler.
Through this project, the group worked hard pulling weeds, planting flowers and greenery, spreading mulch, and cleaning up tools afterward—bringing new life to the space and creating a more welcoming environment for visitors.
Thank you to this dedicated group for their hard work and for leading an effort that made a visible and lasting impact in the community.
